Sorry folks it was a long winter. Since my last post my son has been driving the truck to school everyday. First snow he had no issues getting it into 4WD etc. had to replace both batteries at autozone, but I was glad they lasted that long. We now have been searching for some rattling and...
Wow! Just catching up after a long winter. I can't figure out how to get my rear drive shaft to drop and they stole yours? **** good thieves; but the will get theirs in the end.
We took it out. Looks like it's cooked. Going to pull it place on Saturday to try and find a replacement. First pic shows it pretty well. I'm going to replace all fuses, just don't know if any are missing.
Replaced both batteries with 2 x new Duralast 12V. Cost me some $ but those old rascals were OLD, OLD, OLD and were DEAD, DEAD, DEAD. BTW, the guy at AUTOZONE when I brought them in looked up (non-prior military of course) and said, "I don't think we have those type of batteries." :-) Then the...

Concur with Rick; he has not led me astray yet. Was having rough start up; changed to the 13G plugs (I think the originals were still in it), cleaned the wire connectors with a pipe cleaner and air and have had no troubles with starting. Started today like a champ with 32 degrees outside temp.
I have a Dewalt cordless impact cordless but those bolts were solid. I'm glad I have a 17-year old with a strong back. I almost thought two of them were welded on, but slowly we turned them with the breaker until I could ratchet them off. I thought it would take an hour but the rust wasn't...
Four new Gabriel truck shocks today took a greater part of the day than we wanted. I put PB Blaster on each nut for two days and still had major issues getting those suckers loose even with a breaker bar. One of my front upper bolts seized on the spacer; thank goodness for vise grips and a lot...
