    General Mcgregor's Partial Restoration

How did the Wagner spray gun work? Did you add any thinner etc. or straight paint? Of course, where'd you get the paint? Sorry, I'm a noob but I remember painting my Gamma Goat in Germany back in 1985 with an air gun hooked up to the duece and half next to me. But I don't remember that good.

Thanks, it really defines what Rick meant about "glue it up" for me at least. I like that thread and would love to see it as a sticky. Rick, how about them cross braces?

CUCV Rocker panel no welding install

CUCVLOVER led me to this post and thanks very much for that. 82ABNMP what about the "seam sealer" since I'm a noob of epic proportions. I'm a retired CBRNE guy so we both probably went through Ft. McClellan during the good ole days. BTW, I think this post should be a sticky for us non-welding...

 Roger that. I just don't have any welding skills so I was asking before I have someone take care of it and my rocker panels which are rotten. Do you make those braces yourself? I've seen them on a couple of your builds.

I have holes in the rear of my 1009 in the exact same spots as in the two pictures. How do you normally handle those as I'm sure they are consistent.

Today my son and I got to work finishing the interior door panels. You can see the beginning, painted off the truck, then after we got them back on. All duplicolor flat black fabric and plastic paint. I like it. Ordered a new dash pad today from NPD.

Something wrong with my COMCAST account not letting me open this site. I'm using another account. Took off the door panels to clean and eventually paint black. wanted everyone to see what was behind the doors and then what cleanup does for it. First pic is inside of door panel (Desert storm or...

Unless you pick up one where the previous owner changed them you are going to have to do it. Those seatbelts are/were 30 years old and looked 100 years old. Safety is my number 1 factor because my 17-year old drives to school in it everyday. The HMWWV ones are brand new, work like a charm, are...

Nyvram; very simple. I thought it was going to be difficult but the only modification you have to make is on the middle (spring action piece) of the 3 part harness. Two parts: 1) Enlarge the mounting hole of the middle part (where the belt springs back into the holding container) because the...
