What about the rear main seal housing?

Are you talking about the lower rear main seal, that's behind the transmission / clutch fly wheel? My lower rear main seal went out and started leaking oil into the clutch and out the drain hole at the bottom of the transmission bell housing. I did not have a seal housing handy so I didn't...

    3 deuce's

Texas is one of the few states that allow for BONDED TITLES on vehicles. I just went through a similar incident where I purchased a deuce from a someone that purchased it from GL. He never titled the deuce because he only used it on his ranch and never intended to put it on the road. He gave...

New Bolt On wheel ADAPTERS for FMTV & 5 TON COMBAT rims

I can't wait to get my adapter plates in. I've removed the 6 front rings from my wheels, and was going to take them to a machine shop to have the centers cut out. After seeing your homemade scribe "tool" idea, and hearing how easy it was to cut them yourself, I think I'll just follow your lead...

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

I used Behr on my M923 5-Ton last year. I posted pics in this thread back then. I sold the 5-Ton in March and bought a M35A2 Deuce in April. Last month I used Behr to paint it desert tan. I also used Monstaliner (roll on bed liner) to paint the bumper, grill, battery box, gas tank, and...

Anybody interested in steps for a deuce?

I was thinking it was steps that mounted on the tailgate to assist in entering the bed. If so, I'm interested.

    Webpage posting issue

Approximately 4 months ago, I noticed when I'm posting a message, or pictures, or even replying to private messages, I no longer have the ability to press the "return" or "enter" button to drop down a line. It makes messages seem jumbled up when you can't drop down a line before replying. When...

picking up from Hooks, TX couple questions

Everyone entering the base will need ID and will have to go through the "background" process. If you have a federal ID of some sort (Military ID Card or Federal Employee ID Card) or Law Enforcement ID Card, those will get you past the "background check". If you are active law enforcement of...

    Tintable bedliner w/Gillespie?

Don, Check Monstaliner, they make color tinted products, and I found a thread where a representative was talking about people using their own color (PPG) to mix with their product. Their website is http://www.monstaliner.com/. I used their product on my deuce and it was pretty easy to roll on.

Spray-on bedliner used to paint a MV?

Aswayze and WRMorrison , Both of your rides look great. I was curious about painting over it, but ended up painting over some of the corners and it seemed to work just fine. Yarz, I ended up using Monstaliner. It went on pretty easily, I'm happy with it so far.

Spray-on bedliner used to paint a MV?

It's the HUMVEE seat that a lot of people have been selling here on SS. They come 2 seats to a set, one seat has the springer base and the other is just the seat. I removed the old driver seat from it's springer base, and attached the new seat to the base, and mounted it in the passanger...

Spray-on bedliner used to paint a MV?

More Pictures Here are some more pictures of the truck. I plan on replacing the wood on the troop seats and rails, but won't have time before this weekend, so I just put a quick coat of paint on it to get through the parade. The last four pictures are what the truck looked like when I...

Spray-on bedliner used to paint a MV?

Almost Complete After changing the lower rear main seal, I was able to finally get started with applying the Monstaliner. The Monstaliner comes in two parts that have to be mixed together. This stuff is THICK, almost like tar. The kit comes with a stir paddle to mix it with. After mixing, I...
