The input shaft afte I took the seal off had a lot of play.I'll get pics and check for other play.I was getting a jump in the shifter in 5th when I'd let off the gas pedal but thought that was from clutch slip because off oil leak.

This is my biggest worry guys I had the input seal leaking on clutch and it would slip not bad but you could tell just want to make sure that nothing is damaged as far as the syncros.

That's relief if it's that did not want to move exhaust if that was an issue I ll get pics tomorrow now on to my tranny worries.

My tires don't sit flat on the ground I thought I read you couldn't fix that.They bow inward.

So my toe in could be out on that side?

I lol have to get it apart tomorrow and get pics I have a thread and pics on tranny up with pics if y'all want to take a look.

Need to do front wheel seals need to do brake pads and drums as well as at minimum tranny seals and gaskets.

The truck runs beautiful like a sewing machine with the LDS engine I bought that was rebuilt in a can.

Can I fix it ?I only have it on passenger side.

Got the tranny out will post pics so someone who knows more than me can see if I need to fix anything besides seals n gaskets.

I am taking the front end apart tomorrow dropped the tranny today.I will check all that have to do brakes boots and seals in the front Axel.

Yes and please unlock the little safety lock read the Tms though as suggested.

OK guys I am also having to change the input shaft seal and rear seal and inspect gears and syncros .I saw a company that sells an improved input seal has anyone used this seal? It's one of the military truck rebuild companies.

Ya I'm not sure what's going on but I will be doing pads and drums and try to eliminate some of the potential causes I'm not sure don't have any vibrations and no pull in the steering could be brakes or could be the exhaust heat building up in the tire as I drive .

The heat from the exhaust softens the rubber as you drive especially in the summer.I have lockout hubs as well I will be doing brake pads and drums in a week or two.

It's a winch truck bobbed it's only that side that's cupping the driver side still looks almost new.I have new shocks.
