I’ve used a little in my Gama Goat (with a 3-53). It’ll run fine, if you can get it started… Keep the ratio low. I wouldn’t go more than 5% in the summer, and very little or none in the winter.

Yes, it is a standard M-Series hydraulic brake light switch. I would start by unplugging it and with the three lever switch on jumping across the connections on the wire to see if the lights come on.

As far as I know, goats don't have the "mouse trap" air shutoff flapper... If you are ever worried about a run away on startup, start it in high gear, high range with the clutch in. That way you can stall the engine if it starts to run away. Not that that would work in this case since the goat...
