My M1028 came with detroit locker in the rear and limited slip in the front my adventures in the 20 years ive had this truck its worked out excellent set up this way I wouldnt change it.

Did you measure the bore of the items you honed and do they have any taper, are you purchasing pistons that are oversize to accommodate the material you removed?

Im sure you are aware aluminum angle in a stressful area would make the whole setup much weaker when stressed IMHO.
