but also some that had a gear reduction starter, but Ive never seen a 28mt starter that was a permanent magnet design, IE: they all have field coils.

Im wondering why load management is an issue as your just switching where the power comes in from I think of it as a water valve in all your doing is diverting the flow of power from power line feed to generator feed right?
So whats wrong with just using the same breakers that the powerline...
It wasnt really much of a mod as I just unbolted one and bolted the other filter base in the same holes, longer bolts and fittings adapted but thats all.
