Is the slow blow fuel pump fuse 1 1/4"?

I already knew they had them at Radio Shack and cheap, I just didn't know what size (length) and didn't want to have to drive to my deuce, get the fuse that is in it, and take it with me to drive back into town. Bill saved me 30 miles of traveling, thanks again.

Is the slow blow fuel pump fuse 1 1/4"?

I have searched but can't find the actual size. I think it is 1 1/4" but want to make sure before I pick some up. Thanks.

    No start issue with deuce

I just found out from the PO that the filters were changed out recently, maybe 4 or 5 months. Do they still need to be changed?

    No start issue with deuce

Awesome thanks! I ordered the filters, should be in tomorrow morning. I do have a fuel pump that was told worked, it is sitting on a bench in my garage. Is there any way to test it out of the tank? I haven't even really looked at it, gonna clean it up tomorrow and mess with it.

    No start issue with deuce

Ok says Gimp is an invalid username when using advanced search. Any link to one of those posts would be greatly appreciated.

    No start issue with deuce

Thanks guys. I already did a search for "fuel cutoff lever" and only returned 10 results from this board. None actually pertained to that, seems even if you do a search in quotes here it still finds any of the words, not just the phrase. I will try an advanced search with Gimp as the username...

    No start issue with deuce

I had notice it was getting harder to start every time I started the deuce. Before I pushed the button and it started right up, which eventually got to push and turning over, release, push and turns over and starts. Sometimes it took 3 tries. I was driving and it died. Started it back up but...

Sprag adjustment no bueno or I did it wrong?

Just to clarify, when I say I didn't realize there was play in the rod, I mean I understood there was a spring in there and it would move, but I didn't no realize there was uncompressed play, meaning the rod could move without compressing the spring.

Sprag adjustment no bueno or I did it wrong?

Ok, I pulled the shift rod and I have to say, pulling that helped me understand how it works :) I did not realize there was play in the rod. When I first pulled it off, I could move the shaft in and out of the shock which made me think the spring was rusted compressed or broke even. When I...

Sprag adjustment no bueno or I did it wrong?

Thanks :) I have seen those posts already, probably read every sprag related posts here :) I will clean up the shift rod.

Sprag adjustment no bueno or I did it wrong?

I followed the directions for checking and adjusting the sprag from the manual. It seems once you set the front, when you do the rear you are basically undoing your change to the front, or did I do it wrong? I did the tire check, in forward gears the tire doesn't turn backward, but if you keep...

Newbie, picking up my first deuce this Sat! Could use some pointers

Are the sending units that bad? I could probably hack up an old school dodge sending unit and use that

Newbie, picking up my first deuce this Sat! Could use some pointers

I drove it over rough terrain and turned full turn right and left while driving and the tires never touched the fenders. Looked close though. I will probably trim the lower part of the backside, make it flush with the step. That was really the closest area of contact. It is a 66. There are...

Newbie, picking up my first deuce this Sat! Could use some pointers

Well we made it back with no issues (from the trip). Got back just after 1am last night. When we went to fill up we saw there was an oil leak up front, looks like where the injection pump bolts up. Fuel guage doesn't work correctly, was jumping all over the place or read full. RPM gauge...

Newbie, picking up my first deuce this Sat! Could use some pointers

A guy near Austin, I believe he bought it already bobbed from someone else. Thanks for the tip, I figured these were pretty bulletproof.
