My stop indicator light and Water Temp Light have come for no reason.
They come on and the engine is cold with full coolant.
I am hoping for a simple fix, bad ground or nicked cable.
Has any one else had this problem.
I still can't raise my cab so I don't have the full picture yet. (Hydro Pump...
Does anyone have a roof mounted AC in the cab? I have reviewed posts about the red dot units and it seems that they don't cool extremely well. I am wondering if the unit below is run off a generator. I would not mind doing this if it works well and keeps the cab cool. I don't think a inverter...
I can confirm that the group 24 batteries worked. I installed 4 in a walmart parking with a crap walmart tool set. They don't sit perfect and the cover will need to be strapped down but they work. I went with 24F.
Thanks
I rode in jump seats in a 1980/1990s Nissan Hardbody with no complaints at 6'7 as a teenager when I wanted to go fishing.
I was surprised the cab in these isn't that bad. I am debating on weather Air Seats are even needed. The middle seat is coming out. I need seats with dual arm rests.
Did the cruise control setup work? What was your total costs? Can somethings be pulled from a Cat truck?
I messed around with low speed cruise with the handle throttle but would not use that at high speed.
Thanks
What made you switch out the CTIS controller?
Did you get the problem fixed?
I believe that mine may have over inflated the system and blow out a tire.
I disconnected the system after that.
Not complaining it just seems like a common problem. I made a post about the O-ring issue with a video reference nearly two years ago and figured out that someone combined or deleted some of my content when moving posts around. My problem is much more then the seal. I need a spring it is broken...
National O-ring 216 worked on my 1st LMTV; hopefully it will work on my second. I wish someone would sticky a parts guide. It took me several hours to find posts with the correct part number. I understand that some people are anal and want to only show the exact military part numbers but that...
I just want to confirm that the 24F has the terminals on the correct side versus the group 24.
Does anyone know for certain? I plan to get the Uber to take me to Walmart directly from the Airport before getting to the truck.
Thanks again
Will the group 24s or group 31 be more straight forward install.
If I go will group 24s is it 4 of them also?
I am tempted to go with group 24s from Walmart because I can return the cores to any location. (and the Walmart warranty)
The interstate batteries locations all seem to be independently...
I don't need a premenant install.
I would be fine with the top of the box removed and straps holding the batteries down.
If I am willing to do this can I install groups 31 pretty easily?
Thanks
I am in a different situation. I am going to fly in a retrieve a truck with a 1000 mile trip ahead of me.
The truck will jump start but I want to replace the batteries with group 31s for the long trip. Is this a straight forward to replace 4 original military batteries with 4 group 31s?
Thanks
Thanks I really appreciate it.
I think this will help out a lot of others.
If I am tracing cables does anyone have an idea of where each cable goes?
Thanks
The drawing on the first page is somewhat helpful but it doesn't show enough detail especially when you don't have existing batteries.
I am trying to install two group 31 batteries. (Removing 2 batteries)
I am getting confused because the pictures shows the 12 volts wired in series...
I am new to 24 volt systems. I am trying to wire everything up correctly. Does it matter which of the 24 volt leads goes to the positive lead on the first battery and which one goes to the negative lead of the other battery?
Does the ground wire go to the starter?
Thanks,
