Sometimes you just have to laugh at the ads you see on ebay. While checking out the M1008s & 09s listed I found this. Guess this M1008 seller hasn't looked at GL recently. He might just find out that...surprise!...CUCVs are still available!!
"If you have been sitting on the fence...
Is that price is line with the current market???
I know any Sherman is valuable, but is this one REALLY worth that much?
I could see it IF, it had a documented war history, that included the crew using it to take out three Tigers in the Battle of the Bulge or somethhing. But just...

Another one......Deuce dump truck...
For what it is worth, here are seven in GA that are on craigslist. How many did you want??? rofl
My search tip: Try 6x6, military truck, M35A2, army truck, and it also helps to spell Deuce incorrectly (duece & duce)!

Welcome to the site!
There are usually some in the Classified Ads section that might be close enough. GL has had a lot of trucks coming out of Warner Robins, Atlanta & Augusta recently so they may be a good places to keep an eye on. Plus craigslist & ebay are always options.
I'm sure...
What??? I just assumed that John J. Rambo was out there driving an empty Deuce all by his lonesome in SE Asia!!! rofl
Good point Barrman. I figured that cost was a factor, but guess I didn't think of it from that perspective. They would have mutual support!
Thanks!
In the video the Deuce was spinning one front tire like crazy. So....tell me again why Deuces didn't have locking differentials or at least one with limited-slip??? :cookoo:
Wouldn't that make just as big of an improvement, as better tires and more weight in the back? [thumbzup]
How about $24,000 for one? Is that close enough to $10K for ya? No bids yet...
What kind of exhaust setup is that???

Okay Clinto - sounds like you kinda know him already. We were waiting at the traffic light by the Wa-Ho.
I was just curious since I hadn't seen it before. When he pulled away...I heard a belt squeaking sound. He may have work to do, on the six point two.
I saw an M1009 yesterday and wondered if it was anyone here.
It was green (no camo), without the rear glass...or it was at least down! We were waiting in traffic on Harbins Rd, and crossed over Highway 316 in Gwinnett Couinty. The time was 8:15 PM.
Was it you:?:
Hey guys...
I took these picks the other day in Braselton GA, and just thought I'd post in case anyone might be interested in seeing them. Looks like the 5 tons are still getting used. I took a bunch of pics, so I'll post some more - hopefully there aren't to many duplicates! My camera has a...
The saleswoman I spoke with told me they had sold a lot of them, but didn't expect to get anymore from GSA. The ones they have now have been there a while. They were asking too much for them for a long time, then suddenly cut the prices. Guess they want to get rid of them....
I think they...
Yeah, they seemed to think they were worth a lot. I had been looking at them for a while, and noticed they dropped the prices eventually. In some cases by about $1500-2000. They had the prices of two of the 09s at $4995 and then later they were $2900. Another one was dropped by about $500.
