    A3 and altitude question.

My .02. I live at 5700 feet. I visit family that lives at 8500 feet. I have to go over a pass that is 11000 feet. I hunt in areas that are 11000. It has been my experience that one burns up their dieses in these mountains when they let the diesel lug it out with the foot feed to the firewall...

    High Priced Deuce!

So your accusations were general in nature and did not have anything to do with anyone that was replying to this post. You are just on a rant. There is a coverse to your argument. A flipside to the coin. You don't like the people that are bargain hunters. I think we all get that. I am one...

    High Priced Deuce!

This has been said before but I will reiterate for the remedial students. I, let me repeat, I would not pay $13000 for an M35A3. That does not mean that NO ONE should pay that price for that truck. That also does not mean that the truck is not worth that kind of money. I am just saying that...

    High Priced Deuce!

I saw a trio of A3's last month out of Wisconsin all the same, winches, 1000 miles or less, personel heaters etc. Nice, clean and they went for over $13,000, before fees. I am not begrudging anyone that wants one. That is just more than I am willing to pay for one. I still don't understand the...

    Dealers?

www.100dollarman.com. Hundy has trucks, tires and now HEMTT wheels converted for the deuce. He is in Lucerne Valley, California. I know it's a hike from where you are but he takes good care of me. Also use him to contrast and compare your options. I have not seen a bad truck in his yard. He has...

    High Priced Deuce!

I have seen some A3's with winches and 400 miles go for that kind of money. I saw an XM35A2 on GL yesterday and the bid was up to almost $12000. It did not look special to me. It had the cargo cover and looked really nice but not for that price IMO. Am I missing something?

    I am looking for a m817 dump

In fact after looking at Country's avitar it looks like the 2.5 ton dump truck. I would love to have one of them too. Who am I kidding? I would love to have anything that is a MV.

    Plowzilla

I apreciate all the plow info also. I am thinking about bobbing a deuce to put a plow on and have the sander in the bed to use commercially. I would leave it 6X6 but you all know how it is to maneuver one in a parking lot as is let alone with a plow hangin' on the front.

So I suppose the converse is true in the summer? Don't get me wrong. I like to be warm too. But Summer south of Sherman, Texas for me is absolute misery.

    Deuce Battery Box Mods

I agree with you Steel and Canvas. We have been doing business with Strasburg Equipment, now Colorado Equipment for I don't know how many years. We try and shop local every chance we get. Sometimes you pay more, not always, but when you need the local guy he is there for you. I am suprised at...

    100dollarman HEMTT wheels for Deuce

Hundy is definitely da man. He got me into my first set of 395's and they are about the coolest thing since sliced bread. Now I gotta figure out how I'm gonna get some more wheels and tires. I just don't want to dismount the set I already have and who does not want two sets. Also this way I...

Who won what on 12 NOV?

I ended up with 2 M 332 ammo trailers and a M1061A1 5 ton GP flat bed. Had to pay up for the flattie but wanted it for behind my deuce.

Deuce and a half Fire Trucks 530B Pictures and Info Exchange

There is just something about a fire truck, and it's a deuce. How cool is that!!! My Grandad started the Parker Voulnteer Fire District along with some other farmers and ranchers in our area back in the 1950's. They started out with a bucket, a wet burlap bag and a shovel for their equipment. If...

    Aahhhhhh!!!

I had a similar problem when I singled out my deuce. I broke a 1/2 to 3/4 Snap-On adaptor. I knew I was in trouble when that happened. Then the Budd lugs started to spin before the outter lug nuts. I got so hacked off I went to Harbor Freight and bought the 1500ft.lb. 1" gun, the 1/2" hose and...

    What does "combat starter" mean?

I saw the same posting on GL last night and asked the same question of my Pop's who usually knows about everything. He looked me straight in the eye and said it's an old motor pool term that means you have to fight with the starter to get it to work. I just started cracking up cause I knew he...

Is there a certain year to look for when buying?

I would have to agree with you. I have always had M-37's and such. I got my deuce in August and have bought 395-85-20's for it, an M-105, an M-103, 3 M-105 trailer beds and am looking for some parts trucks and a few to bob. It's madness. But I like it. Thankfully my girlfriend is very understanding.

You guys are a bad influence

Try 100dollarman. He's here on the board. Mark is the guy I got my 395's from. He cut me a deal on 8 tires. I would definitely buy from him again. He's in Lucerne Valley, California.
