I'm out of town for the weekend and only have my tablet, I can try an upload with it. But since I rarely use it to access the site, I'm not concerned about it working or not.
The pics I was trying to upload were just the larger auction pics from a GL link someone posted, so they weren't too large.
I'm using Linux with SRWare Iron (Chromium based) browser, I just tried with FF and got the same results. Can upload to my own posts fine, but can't upload to anybody elses unless it has been first uploaded to one of my own.
So it doesn't appear to be a browser issue.
Yeah, I have tried one at a time and multiples.
I've got a 6 Meg DSL connection and my upload speed is running about .6M/s, so it is slower than my down speed but they all are.
I'll keep messing around and see if I can't turn something up. I don't think it's a timeout since it only happens...
Whether I use the advance upload or use the insert from the post itself, I get the same messages. Unless I have uploaded it to one of my own posts first.
it may be hard to see, but here are some screen shots of when I try to upload to the post I'm trying to edit.
You'll notice at the bottom left of my screen, the message I get, it just keeps changing back and forth between what you see and then after a few seconds...it just stops and no pics are...
Just did some more tests....
I seem to have no troubles uploading to my own posts. I just uploaded 3 to a post and was good.
Went to the post I was editing (someone elses) and uploaded the same 3 pics just fine...got to the 4th one that I had not uploaded into my own post first and it...
I just tried a test post and was able to upload a photo to my own test. Then I went to edit a post (which is what led me to question the upload) and was able to upload that same 1 photo. I tried to upload some more in that edited post, and nothing...the pics upload, and I get a lot of...
Are we still having issues with this??
I just tried a reboot, cleared cookies, and still no luck being able to upload. I had no trouble a week ago, but now I cannot seem to upload anything.
Yes, flexplate for an 84 K5 diesel Blazer with 700R4.
If you used the stock CUCV drive train you would not have any overdrive, the turbo 400 doesn't have OD.
You'll also want a new torque converter, the one form the 350 will have too high or a stall speed. You'll want a 1600 stall converter. And you'll need to governor in the tranny changed out with a diesel governor.
I don't think so, I doubt it would bolt to the engine. Just go to your local NAPA, Autozone, CarQuest or order it from Rock-auto. Just need a flexplate for an '84 Chevy K5 Blazer with a 6.2 diesel.
I would suspect that a LOT of parts still are made for these trucks, even though they are 30 plus years old. Chevy made a crap load of them over the years.
flywheel.
In an automatic tranny it's called a flexplate, the torque converter bolts to it. The one for the stock CUCV tranny and the one that fits an R4 have a different bolt pattern. An actual flywheel is much more sturdy and heavier.
On top of being such a wonderful human being, and all around nice guy. Unknown to many, G has also taken on the duties of being a cat herder (Moderator) here on the site. So not only does he contribute more useful information than most, but he also makes sure all of you out there can access it...
