I'm sure The Beef King would have to make a detour way south to go by 54's place. And if he still has the same little truck hauling all of his stuff, he probably would be able to haul it.
If you find any Gimp let me know. I'm about due for a new pair of hot weather boots. The pair I bought from Jim Henderson at my first GA rally are getting kinda thin!
I'll bet we could be so quiet and skilled at that, nobody would even know we were around. It would be as easy as stacking ammo cans on the tailgate of a deuce.
WOW...$6.00 for 12 Oz.
A few months ago I picked up a new 30# bottle at the local Rural King for $69.99.
Nice work on the A/C. I like it. Where did you mount the compressor/motor? I would like to see some pics of the install, it sounds neat.
And here all this time I thought people were just giving us a hard time about being grammer police and trying to run newbies off because they won't punctuate and use proper sentence structure and punctuation.
Apparently, proper grammer/punctuation does serve a purpose.
To the OP, I hope you...
Let's try to solve one problem at a time here people.
The first problem I see is lack of good information from the OP.
The second problem I've been able to deduce is no starter action when the start switch is rotated.
And finally the third problem that everybody seems to be heading to is the...
You might want to take a VERY close look at that wiring. Your manifold heaters (there are 2 of them in the intake) are in series with each other since they are 12 volt heaters. The glow plugs CAN NOT be wire in series. Just by the very nature of how they ground to the block.
Edit, this is...
Sounds like it may just need cleaned/degreased really well and adjusted properly. If it works cold and not hot, I would lean toward it being a grime related issue or an adjustment problem.
Has anybody given any thought about contacting Champion or any other manufacturer and seeing if they have any other 24 volt glow plugs. And then drilling the head and tapping it for a different plug?
Are you sure you're unplugging the starter lockout switch. If you just unplug it, you'll NEVER be able to start the gen, hot or cold. It is a normally closed switch that opens at engine speed via a flywheel affect, so just unplugging it from the circuit will disable the crank relay entirely.
I have a couple of things that might interest people. First, I have 6 more of these 155mm cases that I will bring along. Someone make me an offer. I MIGHT also be able to snag a projectile...not sure what caliber it was yet, but it's big. I'll have to double check it tomorrow.
Also, I...
Not to put down the 6.2 because it is a very reliable engine. But in my opinion, you can't beat a Cummins. Even with the 4bt, I'm sure you could get way more power out of it than the 6.2 ever dreamed of...and cheaper to get that power too.
Just had a thought. The test pics you've been using. Have you ever uploaded them before to another post?
I ask because I can use pics in someone elses post if they are ones I had previously uploaded. But brand new uploads are the ones I seem to have issues with.
Scratch what I said in that last post. I don't have a ton of pics to choose from on my el-cheapo tablet. But with the tab I can add pics to your post, my post and upload to a fresh post as above.
The pics I just used were in the 130 Kb range, the GL pics from earlier were only about 42Kb or...
