Mid Ohio Military Vehicle Show July 23rd & 24th 2010

Great seeing a bunch of Ohio guys. There's a gagle of us! We should get together and hve some sort of a wrench, or 'PM' party. Kip was talkin' about PM's and other things diesel related, about which, I was clueless (does that take a standard or metric wrench?:cookoo:). Anyway, good to see all...

Anyone know where I can get a good CANVAS cargo cover? I may be willing to part with a newer one if I can find a good canvas cover.

    Lookie Lookie what I found!

I paid $1K for this one. Everything seems to be there and it turns nicely. I got freaked out when I saw sellers asking $2.5-3.5K for the ring mount and legs and started looking hard. Shoot me a pm in a week or so and I'll get you some good pics. I really didn't have a day (or $1000) to get...

    Lookie Lookie what I found!

This one wasn't on ebay. I looked hard on Ebay, but they were often more than I wanted to pay and too far away.

    Lookie Lookie what I found!

No, that was the only one. I woulda put out an alert had there been more. I googled "m66 ring mount" and it came up in a farm auction in Missouri. The guy had a lot of jeeps and parts back in the day, but pretty much depleted now. I didn't realise how heavy they are. It was plenty for the Yota...

ring mount cab plate... how many need one?

No hury. It's always better to wait and get something right as opposed to fast and wrong!

    Lookie Lookie what I found!

I drove 946.6 miles (round trip) to get it today, but I got my hands on a M66 and legs! :-P Looks like I've got a set of legs for a M548 too, in case anyone's looking!!

    Ring Mount Legs

I've got an mg42 mount. Its smaller than the m66 ring. I'm pretty sure you can adapt the mg42 ring to the m66 legs. I'll use it until I find the real thing.

    Ring Mount Legs

I called Adelmann's yesterday and they said they had nothing. I just called them again to make sure, and they still had nothing. Maybe an old ad? Thanks for the 'heads up' though. You're probably right about the Chinese. I'm sure the political prisoners are cranking out ringmounts and legs in...

Thanks CatMan. Will they work for the M66 ring?

    Ring Mount Legs

Probably right on the money, Wreckerman. But I've never let the facts stop me from startining impossible tasks in the past! I've been looking for a set-up. Have been seeing them in the past for about $1.5K. Have seen them recently for $3K. At the former price, it would be tough to...

    Ring Mount Legs

OK, so JWALLER is making cab plates for ringmounts. I think the next step is for someone to make legs. I could get it done, except I don't have any to measure from. Anyone in Ohio have any I could borrow to get the measurements? Any interest in legs? If we keep working a it, we could have...
