    Wax job?

Nothing wrong with asking, enjoy the dull look, there's really nothing else out there like it. 8-)

    Wax job?

You have to be kidding, I don't think you could shine up CARC paint with less than 50 gallons of clear coat. I'm certain that even attempting to wax it would create the biggest mess you have ever seen. How would you even wipe it off, the paint is like sandpaper?

    TN license plate question

I'm a little confused, I have a regular TN tag on the deuce, is that the wrong tag? I've always kept the tag in the glove box anyhow, there was nowhere to mount it and I thought it would look dumb with a license plate. Never had any issues but very rarely drove the truck, and haven't in over...

    TN license plate question

I'm a little confused, I have a regular TN tag on the deuce, is that the wrong tag? Actually I've always kept the tag in the glove box, there was nowhere to mount it and I thought it would look dumb with a license plate anyhow. I've never had any issues though. However I've driven the truck very...

Fuel filter and fuel pump mod

He could join AAA and be covered instantly for one 200 mile tow. That should be enough to get the truck somewhere that it can be stored, or some assistance can be given. I think for the plan that costs around $30 more , you can get a 300 mile tow.

Fuel filter and fuel pump mod

How much would it cost to rent a truck and dolly from U-haul vs. Injection pump? Seems like you have already sunk too much money into chasing the problem already. At least it should be cooler in a few weeks if you're still in the parking lot pulling the engine out.

Fuel filter and fuel pump mod

Ok thanks, that makes sense, I thought the FIRST thing you did was start with the spin on mod. That seemed a little strange in a break down situation.

Fuel filter and fuel pump mod

Sorry about your situation, dumb question though, why did you feel it was necessary to covert to a spin on filter instead of just replacing the OEM? I would have left that thing a time ago under those circumstances and worried about getting it back later. Frankly, I would have taken a rental...

M1009 transmission service.. hopefully a bad joke?

Ok, thanks, I think you're right about the price. If it was around $75 I would seriously be tempted to get one though. However, my transmission appears to have 93k miles already, so at this point there probably is no point.

M1009 transmission service.. hopefully a bad joke?

Just out of curiosity, how would something like this work out? I'm assuming it would stick down too much, increasing the possibility of it being knocked off by something. However, if the vehicle isn't used for off roading, how much could this increase the lifespan of the tranny...

Is there an easier way to remove deuce hubs?

Ok thanks guys, great recommendations.I really like the PVC pipe idea with something tied to lower the assembly maybe and the stool would definitely make it easier also. Using both of those ideas should allow me to do it. I think I'll still put plywood or something down to make for a better...

Is there an easier way to remove deuce hubs?

I'm working on a gravel driveway, so anything with wheels wouldn't work. Maybe I could put some thick plywood down? Not sure I have the strength to remove and reinstall all those hubs, I nearly broke my back doing only one a few years ago. Thanks

    Oil Filter Gaskets M35A2

Yes, I torqued it to 60 lbs. The 5070 does look like rubber, but it also doesn't look like the right shape. To me it looks too tall and narrow.

So does anybody know where I can get the rubber oil filter gaskets?

    Oil Filter Gaskets M35A2

Of course, it was spotless. I don't see what the point would be to reinstall the same type of gasket that's currently leaking.
