You have to be kidding, I don't think you could shine up CARC paint with less than 50 gallons of clear coat. I'm certain that even attempting to wax it would create the biggest mess you have ever seen. How would you even wipe it off, the paint is like sandpaper?
I'm a little confused, I have a regular TN tag on the deuce, is that the wrong tag?
I've always kept the tag in the glove box anyhow, there was nowhere to mount it and I thought it would look dumb with a license plate. Never had any issues but very rarely drove the truck, and haven't in over...

He could join AAA and be covered instantly for one 200 mile tow. That should be enough to get the truck somewhere that it can be stored, or some assistance can be given.

Frankly, I would have taken a rental...
I don't know anything about it , but this video just popped up on my YouTube recomended list. The comments are pretty interesting.

Ok, thanks, I think you're right about the price. If it was around $75 I would seriously be tempted to get one though. However, my transmission appears to have 93k miles already, so at this point there probably is no point.
Just out of curiosity, how would something like this work out? I'm assuming it would stick down too much, increasing the possibility of it being knocked off by something. However, if the vehicle isn't used for off roading, how much could this increase the lifespan of the tranny...
Ok thanks guys, great recommendations.I really like the PVC pipe idea with something tied to lower the assembly maybe and the stool would definitely make it easier also. Using both of those ideas should allow me to do it. I think I'll still put plywood or something down to make for a better...
I'm working on a gravel driveway, so anything with wheels wouldn't work. Maybe I could put some thick plywood down? Not sure I have the strength to remove and reinstall all those hubs, I nearly broke my back doing only one a few years ago. Thanks
