Most of the Supply NCO'S i deal with like the up armored LMTV's. They would rather drive the Up Armored A/C'ed LMTV then the hummer in the Motor Pool. they all seam to like them, and after all, they are the ones they are built for.
look at the members location map and see if any one is close that might lend you a hand. it is not hard to do, but an extra set of eyes and hands make to conversion much easier.
fuel tank and batteries were relocated to the bed. I moved the bed forward to center the fender over the back wheels, i had to cut 2 inches off the front of the bed. this forced me to split the batteries and mount one on each side of the tank. if you use a stock 105 bed, there is plenty of...
I built mine for the mud and the street. works well on both. 4 link is cool, but it won't mean much when you are trying to rock crawl a 10500 lb truck. buy a 105 trailer and use all you can off it to bob your truck. you will have most of the stuff right there with the bed and the spring kit...
the air o matic is designed to turn 14.50x20 tires. if you are not getting any power from the system, then the drag link is bad, or the system was turned off. under front fender is a line that goes from the drag link to a connection to the right of the steering box, that connection has a...

Going to put 14.50x20's on a3 rims on the trailer and get the truck trailer connector fixed. It looks like it will need a cleaning and painted to match the trailer.
After a long time and lots of patience, i have successfully bid on a trailer with a shell for my 2012 rig. Since i only want the shell to put in my trailer, the other trailers will be sold or traded to off set transportation costs back to the house. Pictures are available.
here is an idea to consider. i did this so i know it works. remove the cover you now have on the truck. mark the bows along the top of the side boards. take them out and measure 18" down from the line and drill a 1/4 in hole in the middle of the up rights. get some 550 cord and cut enough 2...
I used a deuce lug wrench, a jack stand, the bar, and the main bar from an old bumper jack. set it up like the video, heat it a nice red, then Babe Ruth the bar (in the right direction). works for me and keeps you from bending the bar in a "U" shape.
