I get 14 MPG. People can't believe it!!!! After the truck goes on a diet and loses all the weight of the bed, the walking beam ,4 ft of frame, and 6 tires, the draw on the engine is much lower. I roll down the road at 60 MPH and have a blast.

i used a couple of tire tools a bead hammer and PLENTY of WD-40. broke down 5 a2 wheels and took the 11.00x20s off the 5 ton rimsand remounted in a couple of hours. if you do a do em in pairs, i1 deuce and 1 % ton, you will see progress and it will keep you going to the end.

the 14.00x20 will only fit it if you bob it. they a re too tall for standard duece. the rears rub

i use a small chisel between the frame and the walking beam frame. if you use a small one, you can get it in with a few well placed wacks with a bfh. after you start the separation of the peices, you can use a larger chisel or a tanker bar to get them apart. make sure you jack up the truck...

you should check out the classifieds. justin wahring has a 105 trailer shelter that would make a better camper than a commo hut.

you can't lock the truck from the out side. when you lock one door and get out and lock the other door door with the inside handle and close the door, it releases the lock. you just can't lock the truck if you are not inside it.

you can find them on ebay ever now and again, good luck with finding a set. everyone wants them and not too many people have them.
