    M101 Trailer Title in Florida

How about FL? Also, in GA, is the SF97 considered a "bill of sale"? It doesn't seem like GL really gives out anything else that could be considered as such... Smitty

    M101 Trailer Title in Florida

If I don't need a SF97 to get plates for the trailers, what is the tax office going to need as far as paperwork when I go to get the plates? I guess I can wait until Monday to get the answer, but I'd rather not stand in line just to find out I need some other type of documentation. Smitty

    M101 Trailer Title in Florida

After waiting 45 days for my SF97 from GL, I received this email today: Mr. Smith, when preparing your documents, it was noted that the weight of these two trailers is less than 2000 lbs. The State of Florida does not require these trailers to be registered or licensed, therefore SF97s are not...

    M101 Spare Tire

Re: RE: M101 Spare Tire The data plate states it's an M101A2, but someone in the military may have changed it back to the old axle prior to my purchase. The wheels are the same as on my M101A1. It does have the 5-lug wheels, so I'll start hunting for an M37 spare. Smitty

    M101 Spare Tire

I need to get a spare tire for my M101A2 trailer. What wheels fit these trailers (not HMMWV on this one...)? I've heard that they are the same as a wheel from an M37, but I'm not too sure. Does anyone happen to have any idea where I might start looking? I'm located in NW Florida and have not...

    CJ-4 Motor Oil

I've been running the CJ spec oil in all of my fire trucks. Prior to use I checked with the engine manufacturers to be sure this "new" oil would work well in their systems and was assured it would work fine. I would do some research prior to dumping any type of cam lube in the lubrication...

    Injection Pump Seals

The seals around the throttle shaft on my 6.2 injection pump have started to leak. Is this something that can be repaired without messing with the rest of the pump? Smitty

    DEATH WOBBLE? M1028A Dually/or M1'S

I had this problem with my 1031. I installed king pin kits and it didn't help (although I did get more spring tension on the bushings with the new kit.) I went ahead and replaced the drag link ends and the tie rod ends. Took it in and had it aligned after replacing the components and haven't...

    Solargizer

Pulsetech is now putting out Solargizers that are also battery chargers in addition to the regular conditioners. They only put out a few watts, but they will keep the battery fully charged over a very long period. I went ahead and bought a Pulse Charger World Version a few years ago. It is...

    M101A1 Body Style?

The SF97 request form has a spot for body style on the M101A1. What is the style? Cargo, utility... I'm just not too sure what to put in this spot. Smitty

Anyone replaced their window glass seals?

You should be able to pick up silicone spray at most any parts store. I doubt there is any difference between 3M and any other type, except for the price. Smitty
