Thank you for the info! I tried moving with my hands and they would not budge. Then again the transfer case was in gear so maybe if I put that into neutral it will work.

Also, could the bind be removed by putting the transfer case in neutral?

Okay good deal. Yeah after reading another forum I did try to jack up the rear and shake it lose with the shifter but it didn't work. Probably because the tower was bound up as well. Fixed that today. Should I put some aluminum or something between the tool I use to pry and the gear to kind of...

Yup, that is exactly what happened to me. So you were able to pry them without breaking the gears? That is what worries me.
