Hello everyone, I was informed that my heater is plumbed incorrectly. My main questions are, what is the correct routing for the heater hoses, does anyone have any pictures of the correct routing, and also will the fitting just swap right into the correct spot or am I going to need access to a...
It only leaks occasionally. You never see it leak when it runs, only when it is parked and has sat overnight, and most mornings you never see it. I don't know what it is. It might not even be a head gasket, could be that temp sensor or maybe a freeze plug. I certainly am unlikely to be a happy...
I do have a mirror and have been looking for it. Might be a lose coolant temp sensor. If it was the head gasket the oil and coolant would be mixing right?
Hello all, my m35a2 has a very intermittent coolant leak coming from the rear of the engine somewhere. Some days I'll run it and it doesn't leak a drop, other days there is a big puddle underneath it. There is no coolant in the oil so I assume it probably isn't a head gasket...but I guess there...
Oh yeah, I only have access to a 4 axis. I was just thinking about making the bushings, bearings, etc. Now as far as a replacement turbo once the surplus dries up, I wonder how a turbo from a 6.0 or 7.3 powerstroke would do.
Thank you for the info. The funny thing is, I am a machinist myself. I thought about making parts if mine fails but I don't know if standard machines would cut it. I would assume turbo parts would need a lot of precision grinding done to them, although I am not certain on that. Does anyone have...
Haha, well the mistake was not checking to make sure the belt was in the right track on the crankshaft pulley. Got overlapped and shredded the belt. Thanks for the info! I borrowed a compressor wrench from a friend that had one and finally got it off.
Hello all, due to a stupid mistake, my air compressor belt shredded. Do you have to have that "special tool" (which I ordered but am still waiting on), or can it be done using more standard tools with more effort? After loosening the two bolts that compress the front part, we tried putting a...
Okay I might just go with adding the additives to it. You don't think I have screwed anything up do you? I think that antifreeze has been in there 250 miles at most.
