I am having the same problem! I removed and had Both alternators tested and the tested fine, I replaced both batteries, but the front battery is not charging? rear battery is keeping a charge, anyone have any ideas? thanks
Ok, I have the same problem, headlights dim, dash lights dim, I did clean the fuse box , and checked all the fuses, what's next check voltage on batteries, or check the alternators:
Don't waste your time, search e-bay for a gear reduction starter, you can get a "new" one for less than $100, it is a much better unit than the stock one
Linex are all independently owned, so the price differ from store to store, the dealer in KC quoted me $500 and the guy in St Joe Missouri said $600? The guy in Kc is doing it next week, pics to follow!!
the rebuild shop call and said the old start is COOKED, the wires inside were melted and he said to rebuild it would cost me about $150 bucks, but he had brand new gear reduction in stock for $195 so I bought it now back to work!! pics to come soon!!
