Funny because I thought the same thing but I was at NAPA and they said unless I had a part number they would not be able to help me. I am going to just pull the hose tomorrow and go around and see if anyone has any that size.
I went through transmission troubleshooting in the TM and my vacuum hoses are bad so I am trying to find a part number for those at the moment. Hopefully that is it.
As the title states. I did do a search and have been trying to figure this one out but if anyone the part number for the two vacuum hoses I would really appreciate posting it. Thanks!
Take a look at the pics Nuke posted. It would look just the same if I took pics. Those freeze plugs are on the drivers side. I printed them out and crawled under the truck and easily found them. I put mine in the same plug that Nuke did and it really worked for me.
I used the block heater for the first time today and what a difference it made. When it is 50 degrease out it usually takes two attempts to get it started but this morning it was in the 20's and it started right up on the first try. I do feel your pain though, right after I got the block...
Nuke,
I had no idea where the block heater went but thanks to your pics I was able to figure it out. I went with zerostart because they seemed to have better reviews like the poster above me said. I don't have any leaks but I will be running it for a few days before I plug it in like...
Got the heater control and my heater works. I am probably going to have to get a new heater core but it will work for now. Thanks everyone for your help!
Will this mess up anything else important? I really don't care if I don't have a speedo for a few weeks until I get a chance to look at it. I am having all kinds of problems that I am trying to fix and the speedo is on the bottom.
I have been looking through the TM's and found some things about the speedometer but it does not seem to match my problem. When I drive my speedometer will read more then double the actual speed that I am driving. Driving today around 35mph and the it was saying that I was going 85mph. My...
Isn't the control for the fan speed was on the heater control plate? In any case I did order the part and it should be here today. I am going to a junk yard in the next few weeks to see if I can find a cable. Thanks everyone for the reply's it was very helpful. I tried to respond to this...
I did call them but they were not sure since it is going in a M1009. They said it might work. LOL!
In the 20P it also looks like a cable connects to the heater in two places and also to the heater control assembly but in the LMT catalog it looks like it only connects to one place on the heater.
Need help ASAP. I did a search but could not find what I am looking for. It's winter and so far I know I am missing the temp control assembly panel and the heater control assembly cable (20P part #6258364).
I have been looking at LMT part number - 32-0638 for the heater temp control assembly...
Sorry I have been reading through the forum but I can't find the info I need. I have to order rear leaf springs today for my M1009 and I can't find any M1009 leaf springs anywhere. Anyone know of a place that has them in-stock. Are the civi K5 Blazer leaf springs the same or do I need to...
I was in the Army at the end of the main transition and I was licensed on the M1009, M1008 and the M998, M1038 HMMWV. It was a big transition since we had the M1008, M1009 with the RT524 radio and we now had the M998, M1038 and the new commo system SINCGARS. It was a MAJOR upgrade. The...
