I have had multiple offers for mine in the last two months and that’s just from guys stopping by the house as I'm outside, asking questions and wanting to know where to get them.
I just tell them to look in the auto trader. 8-)
From my stand point and from my part of the country, there seems...
Nice work!
Since you will have a little time in the shop fixing the rig, Fab me up one of those roof racks please. I'll send the shipping address shortly!
I know Sedalia is small and I should just look for a bunch of MV's hanging around a certain building.
If I can get down there, what direction should I point my vehicle heading west on 85?
Lake Arbor Auto in Westminster by the Cosco off of 92nd, tend to have some quality diesel mechanics.
I also found a mechanic at Century Chev on 120th and he spent many years working on the 6.2l. The only problem there is your paying dealer rates.
In high school I had a 78 Cheyenne 1/2ton and had a balancer go out.
If I had known anything about engines at that age; it would have been in the shop a lot sooner.
That’s all I was saying.
Holy ****! I pray to God that I never have that particular failure.
You had no warning prior to this event happening? Was there any evidence of a sever vibration before the balancer detached itself from the crank?
Just wondering
"GD" can provide a man with some cheap entertainment!
Maybe I'll join up someday and enter into the madness.
If I ever do, my first post will be a dinner pic.8) You'll know it's me.
Part# 12471725-- about half way down the list.
Chevrolet Car Parts Surplus
Unit does not have the fuel pressure switch. Good company to deal with and shipping was fast.
Getting two of everything!!!! I had a laugh when you mentioned having the starter rebuilt and buying a new one. And having a spare.:-D
My girl friend thinks I am turning into these people with my CUCV parts!(Two of everything):-D
I just tell her... " I would rather have it and not need it!"...
I'm glad you’re ok! And I would like to thank you for....;-)
Testing the roll over capabilities of my CUCV, I had always wondered how strong the roof was. At least I know if I ever roll it, I will be able to drive it home…Maybe?:-D
