I know this is an old post, but I've got an 016E and I'm having issues with the throttle solenoid as well. What I'm trying to find out is the purpose of the additional electronics below the fuel filter housing ? I'm wondering if it has automatic throttle control ? If not, how do you fine tune HZ...

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it's an A3 bed. I have a 4.5 cu yd salt spreader to secure in the bed and im having my doubts from the "common sense" aspect as you mentioned glcaines.. Without knowing what these points are rated, I guess I'd better err on the side of safety and install some D-rings...

I've been unable to locate any information on the weight capacity of the multiple tie downs located on the inside of the Deuce bed sides. Anyone happen to know? I've not had much luck searching TM's or SS so far. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Aha Doghead, could very well be an incorrect new relay. I apparently made an incorrect assumption that I could use any old 4 post 12V relay. I will check that. That said, how could I possibly be getting power to glow plugs on ign without power to the relay? I'd be happy to post pics, but I'm not...

I'll preface with an apology. I know that there have been more glow plug questions than probably any other subject in this forum. I've spent the last two hours thread cruising with no clear solution to or explanation of my particular problem. Facts: 88' M1008. 12V conversion complete months ago...

You have to take the top ASK cover off to access it.

Sorry, that # was for the fuel filter. Carquest # 557026 is the oil filter.

Carquest # 86516.

Thanks for the input. I should've mentioned I did check for front axle engagement. It's disengaged. I will, however, add that I did once getting safely home drive it on grass and engage the front axle. Driving slowly and turning lock to lock I did NOT feel any of the expected wheel hop normally...
