    I think he only has a 8K there. A freind and I fabed my mount for a 12k and it takes two ppl to pick the whole thing up. Plus I only want to pull head on so if I were to get a block it would only be to get someone around an obsticle that I could not or did not want to make my self go through.

    From what I can see supply wise the initial contract awarded was to MILITARY VEHICLES OPN GENERAL MOTORS TRUCK AND BUS GROUP MS 2603-02 on 07/01/1982 for 5,201 units of m1009's with contracts totalling 9,962 units of m1009's. I looked it up online in something alot like fedlog.

    The optima's over the past few years have gone down as far as quality is concerned. If you are looking into a higher performing battery check out the other AGM batteries like the ones Carquest has. NG31 is the P/N IIRC for group 31's and they come with the 3/8 stud so you can reterminate...

    I called the dealership in Anchorage and they were able to get mine within a week IIRC when i got mine.

    I had to do one as well. Found stacked washers where the standoff was supposed to be which was why my belts were off alignment as well. I have stopped throwing belts on a regular basis since the replacement as well.

    Blinker relay

    I had gotten mine from superbrightleds.com you cannot hear them click but they work with my LED tail lights. I kinda like to not hear them click though I have always found that to be annoying...but that is the point of the click too.

    you can operate on one alternator. Make sure you have the batteries fully charged first just incase you have to do several starts. I have operated with a bad alternator for months. I have a charger rigged up and charge the rear battery every few days.
