The plug is hollow already so drilling was not all that difficult. Just had to make the hole a little larger to get a large enough easy out in it. When I did mine I used the twisted easy out.
I managed to get a broken one out by drilling a 1/4 hole and using an easy out with lots of heat. I was able to do that without removing the head. The hole was not drilled the whole way through the plug

Condensation?
Could it already be in the fuel?
May not be leaking in at all. I'd try adding something to take the water out and see if that doesn't do the trick
Just like Jimc said in his first response to this thread. HEAT! Use HEAT! That is what they all told me here when I was dealing with mine. HEAT!!
As far as a torque spec that would be impossible. In the perfect world with new or at least clean stuff that is possible. You are dealing with things...
The ones I changed were frozen in and required heat. I heated the plug mainly but I am sure heat got in the head as well. They were swollen in the head. Once unthread I had to apply outward pressure and turn with a wrench to get the end out of the head.
The dryer I believe is about 3500 watts and the burners on high probably about 1500 each. Not sure what else may have created a big load but sounds like it may not be up to snuff. I am sure others will reply. I could be out in left field.

Kill-O-Watt meter. These things are great. I got one and liked it so much I bought 3 more just to have them around. When the generator is running I plug one into an outlet on the kitchen counter. I can monitor what is happening from the house. Voltage or HZ.
ETA: My Hz meter works on both units...
I am not familiar with the 803 but I believe they are 24v? If so I am using this. Pulsetech Solargizer.
Model: IS-24-LI got them new on the auction site for $50 shipped but they are down to $40 right now. I think they are a discontinued item but they have served me well.
My 003 smokes white from one pipe for about 60 seconds and them seems to clear. It sounds like it is mis firing on one/two cylinders until it clears. Almost like those cylinders are not firing until they get a little heat from the others. I haven't taken the time to check the glow plugs yet...
This is very common. There will no doubt be some Pa. code that needs to be followed and maybe even professionally installed if you're even able to do it. You best check. If you sneak it in and there's a problem you not going to be covered. I know a guy who purchased a house 17 years ago, put a...
That is the one (IS-24-L) mentioned in my earlier post. They are $39.99 shipped right now. I have class 51 batteries on my 002 and haven't had any issues.
I got these on ebay. They seem to be doing what I want and need. I paid $49.99 but see he has them at $39.99 now. My understanding is they are an older model but if they do the job for that price I'm okay with them being older models. They are new
