i use it for my friends switchback driveway that is a 20% grade. I agree it can prob do damage if left for long term use.

I actually use the 4lo w/o hubs turned. It gives a low gear without the power being taken by the front and i dont loose turning radius.

just scrapped one, only thing i saved was jumper plug and axles.
