Consider sending Papabear a PM. He's got an outstanding and inspirational story behind one of his Gun Trucks, The Proud American. He might be able to offer some insight or advice.
Jay,
I'm in Columbus/Fort Benning. I uploaded them from my phone. Even though I took them right side up, they appear sideways when I upload them from my phone. I sent them to myself in an email and they are still sideways. I'm not too concerned with it. I don't typically post many pictures...
Now that I am back from New Orleans recovering my 1008, I had a chance to clean it up and take some pictures! :driver: It's an 84 M1008, with a 6.5TD, 4L80 transmission, and a re built gear drive NP205. 10,200 miles on the drivetrain rebuild. The truck is wet so some of the pictures make it...
nice looking truck! Good luck with the lift! The Rough country kit I used was great. No problems with the installation. I would let the bolts soak in PB blaster though! My 3/4 impact got a workout getting the leaf spring bolts off!

The lines at the expansion block need to be tightened and it will be a good system. That's a nice looking truck PB. I'm glad to see that it is staying within the CAMO group, and not to a 16 year old kid who wants to tear it up off road. [thumbzup]
I installed Buy Mr. Gasket Electric Fuel Pump Diesel 12D at Advance Auto Parts and it hasn't failed me yet. It's pushes 7 PSI and works perfectly on my 1009. The reviews aren't great on the web site but mine has lasted for 18+ months with no issue. I ran new lines to the tank, parallel to the...
