We don't keep the HMWVV on the property right now because we use it for promoting our retail gun store here in the valley. Does this place look a little familiar?
Directly behind Circus Circus on Industrial and Circus Circus Drive. We have 3.3 acres of property one block off the strip. Right now we have the following:
11 M35's
3 Comm's trucks
1 HMWVV
2 GPW's
1 M151
1 WC-63
1 Huey UH-1B
With the range comes about 150 machineguns and approximately 150...
Hi Folks,
I just had an ex-US military Huey UH-1B dropped off today. This one is complete except for the engine, seats and most of the dash gauges. All the wiring, transmission and other parts are still there. We will be using it for a zip line at our new indoor shooting range one block of the...
Here are photos of the vehicle and the two others that I ended up purchasing. My employees were busy drivers this weekend  That being said, I'm hoping we can have the somewhat presentable in the next 3-4 weeks.
Thanks for the compliments folks but I owe it all to the man with codes
Here is a pic of the code that was listed for Idaho Surplus. The other pic is of all the trucks before I left the property about 50 minutes ago.
I finally finished all four of the green camo trucks today. All paint was from Home Depot mixed according the first set of colors. These trucks will be used for running advertising convoys down the Las Vegas Strip and I couldn't be happier with the results. I did all the camo free-hand so don't...
We are actually building a tourist FOB or "compound" that will have several stationay GPW's, M-151's on the property and Deuces running up and down the Las Vegas Strip promoting our machinegun rentals.
I'm sending some of my guys down to Southern California next week to pick up some Mk84...
Hey folks,
I bought this Ford GPW to use as photo op. I know I'm going to need front and rear seats but is that front tow bar some sort of aftermarket piece? I don't know the first thing about these vehicles.
thanks,
Ron
Here are four of the trucks we painted this week. These were all painted using Behr Paint from Home Depot. I still have one M35A2 and a M109A3 to finish. These trucks will soon be seen cruising up and down the Las Vegas Strip
thanks,
Ron
I went to both Lowe's and Home Depot to get "desert tan" from the codes provided in the initial post but both stores stated that the base paints are no longer carried (by either company). I picked up the Home Depot 383 mixture as the base paint is still in stock.
Does anybody have a new paint...
Yeah, I talked to Guido about the HMMWV's and we might have a line on some. BTW, I think we need to pick up the four deuces early next week.
thanks,
Ron
We just got it back from the paint booth this weekend and my impression of a SF conversion is almost complete.
Ring mount installed that allows the use of the M240 or M249
Ammo can brackets installed
Radio tray installed
Stake bed panels installed
New paint job
I have to modify the...
We added the ammo can holders this weekend and just need to finish the rest of the brackets for the MG ring mount. After that, it gets a new paint job.
thanks,
Ron
It just got this modification yesterday. We used some stake bed pieces and cut them to fit my vehicle. Also, I'm using a German surplus ring mount with a custom brackets to mount either the M240 or the M249. Next up will be the desert paint.
thanks,
Ron
I appreciate the help folks!
I guess there is going to be quite a bit of fabricating but that doesn't seem to be out of the norm for a "SF" conversion.
I'll have to invest in some airsoft MG's for around town advertising and use the real units when we do our VegasShooters MG shoots.
Does...
I apologize for the cheesy title but figure you folks would understand ;-)
I want to modify our M998 into an eye-catcher for our new retail gun store that we are opening. I don't want to spend a to much money so I plan on having one of my employees fabricate most of the racks and carriers for...
