I know this must be somewhere here already, but I cannot find it.
I am installing a cab heater box in an M35A2.
I have the installation kit, the two steel pieces. I bolted them together (they only go one way.) and fit them into the engine compartment.
For the vertical piece, do I drill the...
Hello All
I bought a cab heater for my deuce. A search of tm's & posts did not give me installation instructions. Can anyone tell me where to find them?
Thank you
Rodger
Thank youall for the very helpful advice.
I got this idea from a friend who drove M35's during his military carreer.
Weld a long piece of steel or rebar to the outside edge of the front bumper so you can see where the truck ends.

sounds good to me:
"We should invade Fastino's parking lot on Juan Tabo. I always see a bunch of classic car clubs meeting there like on Sunday mornings. People stop and look at the cars and the owners show them off. We should just take it over for lunch sometime."

My truck allows me to divide people into two groups.
Those who understand it and those who do not. Most do not.
Therefor i recommend marriage.
congratulations on both, the truck and the woman
If the honey moon takes you west in the truck call us.

Hello All
I know this may have been covered in an old thread, but if it was, I can not find it.
I have a 1967 Deuce (M109A3 which is like the M35A2)
How do I tell which transfer case I have ?
Are they interchangeable?
Is the 5 ton's different?
I am about to buy a spare and want to make...
I am using WMO sometimes. I do not know how well water can evaporate from under the oil. Plannint to add a filter sock after my centrifuge.
Very interested in IRS docu ments.
When camping in bear country, I would rather have a truck that smells like burnt oil than a french fry.

I used rubber gym floormats in mine. They are soft under foot, and for an old dog when jumping off the chair or bed, and can be removed and shook or hosed to clean. Also cheap.

I am guessing that you have a CUCV from the avatar. I am not familiar with CUCV, but have a deuce and had a Pinzgauer. Could it be on the switch that controls the black out lights?

i don't think one thread can answer all the insurance questions. Different states, needs and trucks.
Also it is usually very new members with insurance questions.
Insuring my Pinzgauer 712 (6x6) in New York was almost impossible , $4,000. a year.
When I got to new Mexico, they called it a pick...
Insurance varies with what state you are in.
here in New Mexico my choices were collector's with restrictions or commercial.
Commercial is more expensive, but has no restrictions.
Driving a deuce is more work than a car. Is your dad healthy enough?
