I have tried to use the troubleshooting books, but have not solved the problem.
Any help would be appreciated. I am all out of ideas.
My M109 multifuel made its first long trip and died when it got home in my driveway.
The fuel pump had stopped making noise a while ago, but the truck ran...
Hello Yudlose
I am guessing you are making a camper. I have a double sink and some other parts I did not use in mine. They are yours if you want them.
How did you get insurance?

Hello All
Like gimpyrob said, the M109A3 is the M35A2, multifuel, (with a camper box on the back).
So I have dual tires in back. The goal is back country camping and a diesel-WMO mix. The more fuel I can carry, the less I have to buy. It will also extend our back country range. (We carry a...
Hello All
Do I really need a spare tire on my M109A3 ?
If there is a flat front tire (or two)
I could take one of the four middle tires. A single flat on one of the dual wheels could be ignored.
Now, I know this would double the work of changing the tire, but I would like to mount a...
I want to thank everyone for the good advice.
I decided to replace all hoses and not use plugs.
Being a newbie, I try to keep it as simple as I can.
Thank you again
Rodger
Hello All
I am replacing the old hoses on my IP. There are two hoses that make short loops and T back into where they started.
What are they for?
Can I just plug the openings?
Thank you
Rodger
Hello All
If this is in the forum I could not find it.
There is fuel leaking from the non-metal (low pressure) lines on my injection pump.
Some of the connectors appear to be non military. Others are 44 years old.
any advice on where to get replacements & what to ask for would be appreciated...
Hello All
I recently bought a used air compressor as a spare for my M109 camper.
There is about 1 mm. of crank shaft end play and I can not feel any air when I spin it by hand. The air filter looks good. It makes a compression sound.
Should I be concerned about the end play or the lack of...
Mine is an M109, so of course, I am making a camper. On Saturday I greased the Zerks.
On Sunday, I worked on and tested the dog ramp. Actually the dogs tested the dog ramp.
They approved it, with some hesitation. After the dog test, I replaced the anti skid surface with scate board grip tape...
Hello All
I searched my truck, the T.M.s and then this forum. I have confirmed that there is no fuse box in my M109A3 (Works like M35A2). I know there is ONE circuit breaker.
Every other vehicle I have owned or seen has a fuse or breaker box.
Can anyone explain why the truck was designed...
I want to thank everyone who said to call OKC again.
They did a great job for a very fair price and were easy to do business with.
I hope to use their services agian.

Hey Low Tech
I really enjoyed your pictures of the Death Valley trip in the M109 & how you set the camper up, and the roof rack .
Can you explain why you singled the stock wheels?
Thank you
Rodger
Thank you
Euro-Truck Importers (spelling??) may still be in Flowery Branch, GA.
I bought two Pinzgauers from him. Sean also sold unimogs.
He may still, don't know.

First, thank you all for the input.
I understand that there are many variables.
and I DO NOT want to tip my truck (Summer Home), that is what I want to avoid.
Sometimes the trail goes across the hill.
I like the idea of a tilt meter + a safety margin.
I would not attempt to test any...
When I had a Pinzgauer, the tilt gauge helped reduce the pucker.
I chickened out way before the Pinz did. The M109 will be alot harder to put back on its wheels if it ever goes over.
