Either way... Mods, if you are watching, and I am sure you are, please move this thread to the "SS Main site Improvements, Updates and Suggestions" forum. I would appreciate it. I should have posted there in the first place.
Thanks
Jeff
I am asking this question respectfully.
Is there a spot on this site or person that we can email to discuss the rules of this site and their enforcement?..... Without getting our thread deleted, a warning, or a suspension? It seems lately that being reprimanded for spelling errors and the...
I am not related to this person, nor do I have any connection to them. Figured I would pass this along to anyone who is looking for a goat minus engine and trans.
Hopefully a SS member can give this thing a good home.
craigslist link was here...

I am a Sherwin Williams guy. There is a Sherwin Williams store just down the road from my house. Wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the new "Emerald" exterior paint line. Looking at this stuff over the "Resilience" line.
Here is a link to a a press release:
Sherwin-Williams...
Looks great!! Very cool. I am glad you are getting some use out of it. As I told you when I bought it, It sat in my garage most of the time I owned it. Was waiting for a "friend" to help me address the rockers, tailgate and other rust. Wanted to paint the exterior, use POR-15 or chassis...
Glad you are having good luck with the truck!!! ha ha ha... I guess I should change my Avatar photo now! I posted because I felt like I was misled by "Jeff" the salesman at Motorsource. To my knowledge, I have never dealt with "Brad". There was another guy with Jeff when I was there to...
DO NOT BUY from Motorsource. I personally had a very bad experience with them. All they really do is buy cheap M1009, M1008 and Deuces from GL, bring them to their shop and clean them up and mark them up double.
Take it from me. I bought a M1009 from a salesman named Jeff over at...

Right on Steve. Thanks for the explanation. That is what I was looking for. As you said, from a maintenance perspective, I will probably just use the exterior house paint. My trailer is modded (fenders widened, LED tail lamps, and all brake parts removed) it is used strictly to haul hunting...
Steve, You stated above that you used industrial Aklyd on the underside and wheels of your M105. What Brand did you use and how was it applied? Sprayed I assume? I want something durable for my M101A2 which I will be painting in the next two weeks. If the Aklyd is more durable than the...
More than likely, I would use mine for water (in a designated can) on the trailer. I really only would like one can mounted to the outside of the trailer. Plus, I like how it looks.
Harley. I am a member over at expedition portal as well. Do you happen to know the owners user name. I would like to try and get in touch with him as I desperately need a cover for my M101a2. Mine melted in a fire when the trailer was parked next to my tent camp while we were hunting. The...
I really like Rosco's set up. 1 Jerry can is plenty for me. I like the idea of the ammo box for storage of tools, tie down straps, etc.
Harley. Where did you get that photo? Wondering where that guy had the black cover made for his trailer? Cool set up.
Jeff
I like this set up. Is that a 20mm Ammo can? Did you fab up a bracket/base to mount across the trailer frame rails? So far, this is my favorite as it looks very useful and you would really have to jack knife the trailer to cause any damages to the tow vehicle as mentioned previously...
