I bought mine off Ebay. I paid $4100 and drove it home 300 miles. I would have paid as much as $5000 but luckily the seller wasnt much of a photographer and it didnt look that good on the auction site. I used the phone quite a bit and picked his brain as to condition. I wasnt wrong . I am...
Thanks Ken...thats what I needed.
Im sitting here in the wilds of Utah.....looking out the window at my sand colored Duece.
Looks like its gonna get a 3 color camo job similar to the BDUs.
I cant wait until my house with the seperate garage if finished.....I need to tear into the steering but...
Oh no.....not the metal lines...the clear plastic lines. It looks like the plastic stuff we used for airlines when I was truck mechanicing but i'm sure its not the same stuff.
Hey guys....a question. If I was to go to the diesel parts guys and ask for tubing to replace the tubing from my injector pump to the injectors, what would I ask for specifically and what size ?
Thanks in advance
Drove the 200 miles Saturday morning. My truck ran like a dream, not even a shudder. The best part about the whole trip up I-15, which can be quite hilly, was that I never once had to downshift.....never even got close to downshift range.... DAMN I LOVE THIS TRUCK.
One problem though....i'm now...
Agreed......I love Saturn Surplus. Ive bought bunches from them
I needed these right away as I'm about 4 days away from drving the truck to its new home in Utah. No....I'm not selling it...i'm moving too.

I have been trying to win a set of cable pull air tank drains for months ,on Epay. They always wind up going way past 40 dollars.
Yesterday I went to the Kenworth truck dealer here in Vegas. The parts guy sold me a complete set of two, with cables, for less than 20 bucks.
Ebay is nuts.

The paint I used on my M35a2 for the desert sand effect is a Honda color. Its called Desert Sand and I added a quart of finish deadener to each gallon to flatten it. I could give you the number but I am in the process of a move and the empty can with the numbers is somewhere in my storage unit...
Your truck does look good. One note though....the star on the hood is supposed to have the point facing the cab not forward towards the bumper. But.....as someone else said, its your truck you can do whatever you want with it.
I'm in the process of moving from Las Vegas to Cedar City Utah. Come on down and I will give you a ride in a duece.
Come to think of it...i'm gonna have to lose the desert sand paint scheme for Utah.
Wow...that was easy. This switch is too cool. I read an earlier thread about how it works and the lites in the switch......no kidding....I cant wait for nitefall, to go play with it.
I just scored one of the new electronic lite switches....new in the box.
All it cost me was a pair of 900x20s and a camo soft top.
Now im gonna go install it. Report back in a bit.
