So I went ahead and contacted the company on the website and they responded today. Even though they no longer make this product, they are in the process of marketing the clamp-on version to some international customers so he said that if they go back into production he will let me know the price...
I purchased mine with a valid Alabama title and registration. I live in Florida so I transferred it to Florida, but I believe having a valid title and registration may have helped my case. I am unsure of what the person I purchased it fro had to do, but I know he purchased the HMMWV from auction...
When my half shaft broke I'll be honest, I did not try BTM as putting it into HL made it so that I could drive no problem, but I was not trying to drive in snow or anything at that point, just trying to get home. It would however not go anywhere in H, I had to put it in HL.
You mentioned that...
OK, doing a NSN to part number lookup I think I found this at Auto Zone, but wanted to know if anybody can tell me if this is the right size.

If you are having a hard time finding them, Lowes sells SteelTek shelving system that has a bracket that is the same size and it comes in either black or silver. They are 4.00 each here. Here is a picture of one.
Also I have some extra, but they are in need of some TLC before being put on so...
When I purchased mine it did not have a jack at all so I opted for a High Lift jack that I mounted on the bed divider wall then I keep a jack stand under the back seat so that I can safely work on the HMMWV as I don't get under the vehicle utilizing this type of jack.
Not sure if this will help you too much or not, but the person I purchased mine from had mounted my speaker bar in the space behind the B pillar so here are a couple pictures on how it was done. This may give you some idea on how you can mount between the windshield and B pillar...
Put her to work this weekend.
Ended up hauling 2200 pounds of yard debris and at the dump had to do it through a lot of soft dirt with no issue. Only issue I had was waiting in line almost an hour to get back out of dump sitting there in the hot sun with no AC or shade!

Thank you for this thread... I had mine at the 50 that it says on the tires and my ride was rough as could be... after reading this I dropped it to 40 and it is much smoother now. Will be dropping another 5-10, but started with 40 (mainly because my son aired down for me and was easier to tell...
Mine do the same, when they stop, they are just to the right of straight down, but I can push it over to where it is supposed to go and it will stay until the next time I use the wipers. I have not yet figured out how to get them to stop in the up position. The passenger one works as should...
That was the problem and evidently it’s been a problem before because they have washers between each contact. I used carburetor cleaner to clean all contacts and the washers and now they work again.

I was afraid of that. Whoever I got my truck from has the cross beams jerry rigged with toggle bolts holding it to windshield so I guess I will need to either fix that or just get more toggle bolts

My wipers have always worked fine, but every since the last time I went off roading they just stopped working. I tested the wire at the switch and there is no power to it so my question is where exactly does this wire go? I tried checking the connections I could reach under the steering wheel.
I don't have a Deuce I have a HMMWV, but I noticed somebody mentioned Progressive Commercial. I personally use Progressive Commercial and will continue to do so for the forceable future. I use to have USAA for my automobiles and when I got my HMMWV they referred me to Progressive Commercial and...
