I wouldn't even worry about the speedometer then. With such a minor change you probably will not even notice a difference if yours is correct. You can always change the tires out then compare it again with the GPS to make sure just to make you feel more comfortable.
I know I have 37s on mine and my speedometer is off so I'm thinking they did not change the gears. When my speedometer says 40 I'm actually doing about 47. I actually use a GPS speedometer on my phone and have my phone mounted where I can see it. The location of the actual speedometer is...
I keep my pistol in my ammo box next to me if I do not have it on my side (the one with the lock on it in the picture). It has foam in it to hold my pistol along with three extra magazines.

Quick note... If you are replacing with the Auto Zone half shaft, you will need to get the standard equivalent of this bolt. I just got this bolt and it does not fit. I did get the standard equivalent (I believe it was 3/8-60 but the highest grade they have in the standard (at least that I can...
Yes, there is LOTS of info on here just by searching for vampire. Do you have a 3 speed or a 4 speed? When I first got mine, I had transmission fluid in my air filter and I thought I had the vampire issue as well, but I have the 3 speed and when I went to order the part from one of the vendors...
Thank you all. I think I’ve figured it out, just have to go get new bolts and nord lock washers. I forgot about the nord lock washers since when I removed the old one it only had one regular lock washer on it (thank you Action for that reminder). So it was probably a combination of the wrong...
Ok... looking at the torque sheet, the bolt that holds the half shaft in needs to be tightened to 57lbs.
My question is how are you doing this?
I first tried with the original bolt that came out of the old one and it snapped so I went and bought a new bolt, but it broke before getting to...
I do not think mine will ever be done. I simply do a little here and there as time and money allow (or as things break). This week I'm putting my half shaft back on. Was going to rebuild it, but decided I'm better off just buying a new one to get back on the road. I may still rebuild the broken...
I will tell you though, learning this technique will not guarantee no breakage. I did use this when on the trail as soon as I had any wheel slippage and it worked GREAT! I really do not know what caused mine to go, but then again it may have just been its time to go. It started making a grinding...
my cage that holds it to the wheel is what broke so I simply removed the other end from the brake rotor, pulled it out then I did take the inward end apart on the trail to put that end back on the rotor just to make sure everything was held together while I drove home. Not 100% sure if that part...
I had this same one break on me a couple weeks ago. I was coming off the trail so just removed it and drove home without it, but had to keep it in HL or my vehicle would not move either. I tried the brake throttle modulation and still couldn't get it to move other than a few feet, but in HL I...
My question is how important is that part? I'm asking because when I went to change mine out mine seared off flush with the engine block and I have yet been able to be able to get it out. I have not noticed any difference in the way it drives without it, but am curious if it is going to cause...
They are in fact aluminum and absolutely do NOT function as a roll bar. Mine holds my speakers and since it is hollow I was able to run the wires through it for a nice clean install, but I would much rather have the protection of a roll bar up there. Not that I do anything major with mine that I...
Funny thing was I had just made it through all the difficult stuff and back onto the main forest road when he stopped me and when he was done he said that even though I’m at the end of the trail, he didn’t think I’d fit due to my width so I needed to go back the way I just came. He wasn’t...
