My only concern is your dog getting to hot during summer in the cargo area. With your new sliding rear windows and tinted may help?
I say this because my lab would get hot in the rear cargo area in my SUV with A/C.
The like the cargo netting. Where did you find? You could attach...
My quote for 6 grommets was $336.48. 4 for my truck and a few spares.
I get the feeling this part is very hard to find. The sales person told me they only had 20 of these grommets that's it.
CJ, has a good point.

Well do you really want the antenna grommet? I got a quote from WB Parts.
$56.08 for one. Too rich for me. Maybe someone else has them cheaper?

Cycle Jay,
Did a new fuel gauge help you? I figure gauge is off 1/4 of a tank. My gauge will jump around some too.
Didn't know if a new gauge would help me? Or should I consider a new sender unit on the tank.

I was glad to help. When its time too do my headliner I will need your help.
It really helps to have an extra set of hands.
I am glad we figured out your dome light fuse issue.

Yes, it will interesting to see the price and if they can still get them?
In the email I told many other owners would be interested in the grommets if he can supply them?

This isn't another Alternator question or where to buy a Diode Trio.
I bought a rebuild kit and found a local alternator/starter repair shop who will clean and rebuild alternator with my kit for $20. The guy has been doing this for 30 years.
I don't question his knowledge or company.
The...
I took the part numbers and found a company called wbparts. https://www.wbparts.com
Create an account so you may request a quote (RFQ)
Search for Part number 5325-01-230-1844
Seems this grommet is also used in the aircraft industry? As wbparts is a aerospace parts supplier.

I went with seat belts from LMC. Pricey yes, but they are new and fit good.
I don't like the idea of used safety equipment. That's just me.
My thoughts,

Are you sure that's not your repair/Parts budget? You can easily spend $1500 on repairs, parts, and upgrades.
CUCVs are 26 plus years old. Parts are failing and rubber is dry rot.
Example a few weeks ago my heater core started leaking. In the process I found my blower motor going bad...
CJ,
I am currently in the process of replacing my heater core. From what I found on SS stay away from the Aluminum heater core replacements. Most are China Junk.
From my understanding is that the Aluminum cores don't put out the the same heat as the original ones made from copper and brass...
Interesting Barrman with your pictures. I noticed ring connectors instead of the plug.
My question should I replace the connector plug with new ring connectors?
I cleaned the connector plug, but I am not sure about it.
Should I replace the plug connector?
Thanks,
stationjj
Odd you should mention the heater core. I live in the Nashville area. It's getting colder, and I have started checking my heater as well.
My heater core is leaking or clogged? I had leakage. I had a local radiator shop flush, clean, and repair for $32. No China junk!
The motor is making...
I second the middle of the road AAA with free 100 mile tow. Cost isn't too bad, but a great piece of mine. AAA has saved me a few times.
I also added 2 12V lighter plugs. That will help a lot as well.

What I mean by replacing rubber to prevent further rust damage. When you get your first CUCV you will notice that most if not all rubber will be dry rot and falling apart.
When I got my M1009 the rubber seals for the top where leaking. Also check the seals for windows. Again mine...
