Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

I don't need a thesaurus, I usually need a dictionary for I'm terrible speller, but I have fantastic vocabulary. I hate to break it to you Scooter but those so called random useless facts that you call Philosophy has lead to the development of logic that runs your little computer at home , at...

Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

I've never understood the hostility some people have against education or those who have an education. For example let's take Shakespeare only went to grammar school, which makes his abilities seem rather remarkable. This is especially so if we consider his contemporaries of Marvell, Donne...

No, the funny and yet wildly disturbing fact is that you actually believe that statement.

    Re- babbitting a barring.

RB-44 Model FWD then? From about what 1950-1956? That is the 602 international engine right? That is a pig of an engine.

Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

I actually don't do much with ancient philosophy, the questions in those fields are far less erudite then most suspect. Personally, it the philosophy of mind, language, epistemology and logic that interest me. No authority at all in question. You take authority to be surprise at the US's lack...

Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

The response wasn't that relevant to the discussion. If you look at all the current military vehicles in service have locking diffs. So it would seem that fear you have military wants to make a truck idiot proof is probably not that big of a concern. Therefore the fact that you want to claim...

Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

Well the cable would be set up so it could be used primarily from a rearward position. So all I would have to do is just walk to the back of the truck and pull the cable out until I reach my anchor point. I would only reverse the direction when necessary to pull someone else out from the front.

Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

Chains are great, no doubt about it. And you would want them one the truck even if you had lockers on front and rear in say 20-30inches of snow like I'm used to in Up State New York. And I've used them in mud too. But you still want the lockers... They will help a lot conditions.

Kraz 255B has everything the M35 and M809 M54 series should have had. They have great reputations for dependability and if I had the money I would have purchased this truck in a heart beat over the M35.

Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

I love a false dichotomy argument that only two groups of useful people are farmers and engineers. Well considering how humanity seems to have existed thousands of years prior to the neolithic revolution I guess farmers are only important if you live in a society that establishes fixed...

I didn't say what exact unit I would use but I do want CTIS capability for the 6 395/85R 20's, I plan on putting on it. I hear Dana makes one... I wonder how well it works.

Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

Money was the issue, I didn't want to wait for 6x6 fun... I figure I can build it bit by bit. I plan on putting the new winch in the middle of the truck actually. In fact running another channel betwen the front and rear axles to distribute the weight of the winch as well as distribute the load...

Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

I've emailed ARB to find out if they think their lockers will handle the extra torque of the IH DT466 when coupled to a Fuller 6spd and Oshkosh 55000 series transfer case. They're crunching the numbers supposedly.

I guess someone should have told that to the F-15C?

    Need thermostat information

You can get the thermostat at NAPA no way... I figured that was a Saturn part only.

Why the Deuce Doesn't Have These I'll Never Know!

1/2 wire rope , that's not bad but Tulsa winch only rates the winches with this size wire rope at 7,000lbs. Of course strength depends on material and type of strand patterns but I bet 6,100lbs is pretty much dead on when you consider the rate of the winch and length of wire rope. Especially...

I figure they might be actually the right numbers. What is the diameter of the cable on the 10k winch normally?

That's an old International Cab for sure but what is the make of the truck itself? Alot of old FWD's used to use the International Cabs... I've seen many an FWD with a Snowgo Blower on it. What is your truck?
