There is no connection between the pump and the motor. It is magnetic.
I think one of the keys to keeping these things alive with WMO is keeping the pump motor cool.
The pump has to work harder with WMO, which makes more heat. More heat makes the WMO a lower viscosity fuel.

That is your cold start system. For a temp fix you can just undo and plug the line. Buy a new one or rebuild that one. I have some extra o-rings if you need some.
I have had that problem.....It comes from over pressurization(I think), try backing your fuel off some. I replaced mine several times and it would crack the new one in just a few days. I finally backed the fuel off and really slowed the leak down. Mine would only leak during pulling RPM's...
My question is, While you are getting satisfied running the engine with signs of AF in it.....what is it doing to your bearings? And why would you do that?
