I was surprised when this Stud just twisted in half. It never got to the point of feeling tight. It felt like I was just pulling the wheel up to the hub.

Mine did that at first....Swaped out for an air shift.
When I took it apart one of the bearings had come apart and one of the balls had lodged itself into one of the shafts, glad I did not try and force it into low....It would have never gone back into high range.
