What's the most common culprit of the sprayers not working (sprayed once for like 10 sec and slowly stopped)? I had real weak wipers and after lubing all the linkages in the motor and firewall they became normal (minus parking :)
I am thinking of getting one too. I don't think there is a special one for this truck , but I plan on getting a 24V hydrolic one. I have been told it is better to get a mounted one than a receiver hitch type if you are going to get one. I think you can use a 12V or a 24V, but the 24 one draws...
I think there is a cover you can take off and adjust a little screw to adjust how much fuel the pump pumps, but I am not sure where on the pump it is. Also be careful adjusting it too rich will melt things.
I had to run with my transfer case bone dry for about 15 miles and all it messed up was the nylon tips on the forks inside (a $15 repair). If you did run with no/almost no fluid I would recommend opening the case and checking those nylon pieces. If they are melted/worn out the shifter forks will...
I want to add a am/fm radio to my truck. How do most people install theirs (speakers and radio)? I was going to use the stock location, but it is the wrong size. Do most people just cut it up to fit? Pics and info would be great.

What does the plug under the ash tray do/did? Someone told me it was called a cannon plug but wasn't sure what it was used for. Also what is it wired to?
When I cold start mine I start it and let it idle for a min then rev it and hold it till the gen lights go off. Once they are off my meter goes green in about 10-15 sec.
Has anyone added a 24v winch to the front of the m1009? What are some good ones for a reasonable price? Also how do most people install them? Do they just add a receiver hitch on the front?
A friend had these laying around in his shop and gave them to me put put on my site. I have no real idea where they were used or who used them, but they are from the 50's and I believe they are a creative form of making announcements to employees. Does anyone have more info about these...
