I cannot wait to start to running it Bio-Diesel... I think Water-Injection will be another addition to the truck will increase power and economy as long as the boast remains constant... Methanol-Water Injection I think is the way I want to go.
So I was hoping for a LDS but got LDT -465-1D the ad only said 6cyclinder Diesel engine. So I'm pleased with it, but I think Water-Injection would help. Right now I'm getting incredible fuel consumption, so low that is is remarkable, like 12-13 miles per gallon. I know sounds amazing but if the...
If the fuel gauge is correct, it says 3/4s of a tank, from full which is 12.5 gallons. My brother's odometer and mapquest both say that South Holt Rd. Indianapolis is 168.9 miles from Elizabethtown KY. That gives me about 13.512 miles per gallon. Now if the tank was overfilled or not I'm not...
Re: RE: Re: RE: My M35A2
Rapco-Texas, got it thanks...
Yeah you could run it with other fuels, but the metering would be crappy. Personally I'm really happy with performance I'm getting right now. 12.5 gallons for 168.9 miles isn't bad at all considering I didn't turn it off for four hours...
Well I picked up my M35A2 from event 3520 in Indiana this Friday at 10:30am... My prefer setup for this task is a Coffee in one hand and Lucky Strike in the other... No problems at all I put in two car/light duty truck batteries to jump the truck, and replaced the aging U6-TL in the attempt to...
Actually, Biodiesel will not smoke more than normal diesel. In fact it will smoke less it has a built in oxidizer. As for temperature problems, you can actually run Bio-diesel with Wintronex up -10 or -20 degrees F. Oil consumption should be the same as with normal diesel fuel as well.
The Walkerbulldog....
If I wanted a tank, I would have to say the huge Soviet T-10M has always had a soft spot in my heart maybe due to size... But the tank I would kill for currently is a de-milled Challenger MK1. Slow yes, heavy yes, but well made.
I want to repaint my M35 either flat green or Glossy British Racing Green... But right now it is in Camo... Three tone to be exact, I don't have a picture because I've not picked it up yet. Hopefully Friday of this week...
Not yet, I haven't a clue what I want to do with my Deuce. I have just got cleared to pick up it soon from Drexel Indiana. I'm just spit-balling ideas around to find out what I can do with the standard block to get more HP out of it.
So where can I manual for the LDS-465-1A engines, I curious to see what are the differences between the LDT and LDS series engines, from the numbers it would appear the block is the same. That is to say both are 478CID and that means it must be fuel injector pump size, fuel injectors , cam shaft...
