every question has been asked pretty much, if you search long enough you'll find the answer somewhere.
I was beside myself when I got my first deuce too, if you have to drive it back from a long distance away that will help cure some of that excitement.. LOL
I drove a deuce 500 miles back without ear plugs, it didn't bother me too much .. that 818 BOTHERED me.
But hey, people will stop and look at you, and NO ONE is gonna change lanes into cause they didn't know your there.
I've spend close to 9 hours in a 818 with no muffler, in the passenger seat. You can feel it in your chest if you have the window down, and you don't do that without ear plugs.
I had fun once.... wasn't nothing like that though.
Nope I was in the middle of flipping my hubs and broke a couple of wheels studs and Corey didn't get them ordered in time.. (I'm blaming him at least)
5 ton studs aren't the same part number as 2.5 ton. I checked fleetpride, perfection, and truckpro no one had any left hand in stock.
Yeah like any of our wives would have said sure, hooters girls in bikini's is fine.
Are you sure the parade people will be ok with it? Its a family thing ain't it.
That sucks, I know several people the same thing has happen to, almost got me once too.
Its always kinda bothered me when I went to buy something to learn they were trying to sell me something they didn't own.
mine has a light just missing the dome, at some point I will probably replace it. Doubt I will make the 4th parade its our anniversary and I really don't have the money or time or try and get it registered, much less how am I gonna insure this crazy thing.
I'm not doing the best job of...
nah, not try to put anyone to shame just trying give the old truck its dignity back.
yeah 1600's on hemitt wheels. (I still plan on flipping the hubs at some point)
Man its sooo much easier just doing the green, but at the same time, I really like the camo look, and I like having the front winch and wheels black, so at some point I may camo it.
For now though, it will stay green alittle while longer.
Well all this wrecker talk about new toys, figure I'll throw my hat in.. I'm slowly getting mine back into shape.
Here is some before and lets say during, as I'm not finished yet. Still need to do inside the bed and lots of touch up, haven't done anything with the cab yet either.
