:idea:I took the O ring out and it was cracked up. I took it to Autozone, O Reilys, the Chevrolet dealer and nobody could match it. So I drove to a Hydrolic repair shop and the guy matched it and gave me one for free.
So first I put it in wrong and fuel was leaking bad. Then I put it around...
kennyw your such a party pooper.... Yes I am going to weld the sheet metal...
This forum is for quick fixes. I think the 2X4 is a pretty clever Idea. I hammered it in and it locked the seat in place. No more wiggling.
Seems like we all run into the same problems with our vehicles. Here is something I came up with to keep my girlfriend from falling through the floor.
"The Ol' 2X4 under the seat trick".
I posted these pics in another thread and I thought I would see if any of you guys had some fixes for my...

The clearer jar is from the smaller reservoir /the dark is from the front res... it looks like an emulsion, and the 3 and 5 are separated. Which one is the heavier liquid?
I use my truck for fun and I do some daily driving with it. I drive 70-80mph on the highway with no problems. I haul a (2000lb empty )16ft dual axle utility trailer with brakes.... I love it. I drive at 80mph to my hunting spot, with my wet dirty dogs, lock in the hubs put it in 4 wheel low...
My passenger seat was going through the floor. I used the Ol... "2X4 under the seat trick...
Did you guys know this fix? Its like the seat bracket was designed to fit a 2X4 ... fits perfect and is holding up my seat.
(I cut and pasted this from another forum I posted in)
I just went to Radio Shack. I showed the guy the picture of ^ that green resistor(from a different forum) and they didn't have one that big. They had no 300 Ohm resistors. What they did have was a 5 pack or 150 Ohm 1/2 watt resistors for 99...

My 1009 does the same thing. Starts for a few seconds, then runs out of fuel because there is air in the system. I open the hood and open the bleeder valve on my fuel filter. start it for a few second, and it bleeds the air out of the filter, then I shut the valve after some fuel has bled out...
This helps me too. I have been FREEKING OUT! for the last 2 days since I read about DOT 5 , drained my MC reervior, have been researching all the posts.....
I just realized something.
I have had a mixture of d3 and d5 in my MC for 3 years and have had no problems with the braking system.
I had a Dot 3 / Dot 5 stew in my master cylinder. I Love this site. I had no Idea about the DOT 5 fluid until I got here. Maybe the sheriff Dept, or the Oil change guys...or me put Dot 3 in the MC I dont know but I put it in a jar and it was a wierd emulsion.
Anyway the big question is...
