My M1008 does occasionally and my Celebrity does the first or second application and my old Caprice did...I think it's just a normal Chevy thing. Backing up then stopping seems to help a little for me...shoes self-adjust and maybe pressure equals itself out a little.

yeah the GP's are not needed while engine is running. Hmm... come to think of it there was a slight fuel leak coming from the filter or base. I replaced the filter and it continued to leak a little, then it stopped. And it leaked once maybe a month and a half ago.

Putting a jet engine in an M35 sounds like something they'd do at some of those late 80's early 90's monster truck or drag race nights. Jet or turbine powered ATV's or buses. Hhaha

Several weeks ago it was about 35 degrees and I tried to start it and it started (after 4-5 cycles of 5-10 seconds of the GP's) but ran really rough while I was holding the pedal down a bit...i let it off a little and the truck died then wouldn't start back up...

If its below 50 it starts hard/smokes a lot. Today i went out to see if I could start it...and the batteries were really low. so....needless to say that didnt last to long.

RE: Manual M1028 How easy would a NV4500 swap be? I'd prefer that 5th gear cause i do lots of highway driving.
