My th400 trans slips also on the first two stop and go's, I have to tickle the throttle. After that it has plenty of get up and go, no slippage. It has new filter and oil it just needs to warm up, signs of a 25 year old trans that will need a freshening up down the road.
My sister in law's car was wrecked up here in R.I. just before she moved to FL and the insurance co got the car to her, And a month later flew down a service tec from up here to find out and repair the trans after a bunch of parts were laying on the ground.

If they are the same as the M1008 there is a philips head screw in the armrest, the rest are push in clips that you carefully pry out. Use an interior trim removal tool if available. I think HF has a cheap set.
I am having my dash, door panels and arm rests done in a process called hydrographic [google it]. I'm picking up the dash tomorrow the rest should be ready in another week, everything should look better than new I hope.

Wallew, you can repair the gearshift indicator by taking a piece of wire [paper clip]heating it up and putting it threw the plastic to hold the indicator wire. Adjust the length of the paper clip to center indicator in desired position.
I let member pwrwagonfire borrow my socket to remove the front bearings on his M37 a few months ago, I was no rush to get it back, and today I recieved it back in the mail.
