I would think you could pull it just fine and with the tires just drive a little slower it would be okay even better its all back roads! I don't know the laws in maryland but go slow with 4 ways on you would be okay!

with out pics not sure what you have to work with. once you get it mounted Be sure you adjust it correctly as the 700r will not live long without the correct tv adjustment I'm sure you know how to adjust it when you get it mounted but if not the here is the walk threw Adjustments of the TV Cable...

Rickf sorry but most 1028s still have the 208 the 205 will be found more in the 1010 or 1031 and yes some 1028 have them but most still have the 208 and thanks flint was just going off top of my head on the gvw

The only dif in the two is the 1028 comes with over load spring in the rear and a posi in the front other than that they are the same trucks. without lookin the 1008 is 8800 gvw and the 1028 is 9200 gvw and for some the posi in the front makes a big dif if you plan to do alot of offroading...

Ralbelt the heater box under dash needs to come out there are three nuts on the underhood side you take off remove heater hoses then one bolt on the pass side under dash inside remove glovebox one screw at the defrost duct to heater box unhook both cables and it drops out from under dash very...

THE starter as stated before could be the problem optima batterys are the best batterys out there for me. Have them in 6 trucks/cars. bad/dirty conections on cables and yes batterys not fully charged maybe bad alt. or yes maybe a bad battery have to test check everything!

just get shocks for a 84/85 fullsize blaser the 1009 is just a blazer with a plow prep and trailer tow prep and is called 3/4 ton still just a blaser when you get shocks for it!!

Im not saying that the trucks you had ,had or didnt have a dana 70 but the cj10 was built from 1981 threw 85 and used the dana 44 front and back as standard axles and a dana 60 rear was the only option to id any dana axle is easy they stamp the model number in the housing of all dana axles ever...
