Here in michigan would be no problem! I have got several from a local tow and inpound with just a bill of sale stating it was a inpound/abanded and then got titles. GOOD LUCK in ca. Post some pics when you get it! and some info
the power to the engine should be the same so it should start as for the plug you ask about not sure what you you talking about can you post a pic? If your talking about the two power strips on the pas side they are just that. power connections for the mil spec you can remove them just put pos...
I strain my oil change oil and use that in mine about 5 to 1 and have had great results. My truck I would get into today and drive anyplace and not think twice! The wife drives it everywhere also her car sits in the garage sorry for your problems but like said is a 20+ old truck that sat a lot...

Alot of guys will disagree. But My dad is retired from detriot diesel and a hilo driver for the assmbly line of the 6.2 and a best freind worked development He says the dif between the c code and J code is the EGR and that the injection pump is turned down a bit and a small timing setting dif...
congrats Looks like you got a good truck I would bet with the yellow stipes on oil pan you have a newer engine in it at least . Mine shifts at a higher rpm when cold and on high idle but once the fast idle kicks down at 110 deg by the gauge it shifts sooner check vac lines and injoy the truck...
:ditto: what warthog said If I read it the way he put it he is saying the temp light sender is in the rear on the left side It is on the left side or driverside but the front of the engine. THANKS warthog you answerd before I saw it
I would think your better off putting a 7 pin on the other side of the pintal hitch and still have the 12 pin there is no spare pins to use for the brakes2cents
While you wait for the starter pick up a master cylinder and put it on bleed it sounds to me that it is bad by the way you discribe the barkes. Good luck with the starter![thumbzup]
Not saying it will self-destruct if you go over 55 just that it will not take it very long a 1009 has higher gears it will live but a 1008 ,1028 ect.with 4:56 gears will not. not for very long he is asking if his truck is a good daily driver for 65 , 70 mph And answering his question yes...
If you bought the truck for a daily driver and will drive on the highway daily at speeds over 55 this truck is not a truck you want. it is not a high speed truck will drive that fast but will not live long at all they were built for work and offroad not a daily highway driver. Not trying to be...

Just looking at the pics above and was woundering what year is the engine and what is it out of? I notice the water crossover is not that of a 6.2 in a pickup or blazer nor the vacume pump and was just qurious
:ditto::ditto: and :ditto: if you can move the fan at all then the pump is shot!! and yes there is a weep hole when the pump seal goes bad becouse of the bearings going bad then the coolant will leak from the weep hole !!!
:ditto: If I read you question correctly the problem will be in the turn signal switch It click's when you turn on the left signal but not when you turn on the right .
