Gen 2 bulb is not the same as Gen 1.....Might be worth getting the correct light for the Gen1 socket and putting the Gen2 bulb back in the Gen2 spot. I don’t know why, or if it matters but the Gen2 bulb is different than all the others......or don’t

If the plugs aren’t working and it’s cold...it will not fire up. He may have a bad plug or two. Don’t get him running down a rabbit hole. The truck will smoke, it’s ok. Read the TM, understand how the vehicle functions. It’s not a new Duramax....
