When posting a new thread, I think it would be maybe helpful to have a box to type in keywords relating to the topic for easier searching later. That could cut down on threads about the same thing being posted over and over. Maybe.
For example:

I don't have an antenna in mine (my MP3 player has built in FM radio I use) but I like the idea of velcroing it to the A pillar.
Here's how I did mine, FYI. Hope it helps.
EDIT:
Oops. Seems I didn't put the link here, so I guess that wasn't very helpful.

Someone named my M1009 the "Tetanus Tank", due to the rusty, sharp-edged floorpan (has been "fixed" since then).
And by the not-so-car-savvy, "Bronco".
Well, that didn't work. It was worth a try, though.
I like drgreg's idea...I'll give that a try.
I pulled the batteries out, one was manufactured in May 2004 and the other Oct 04... As I said the date installed was not marked on the batteries.
They are Exide 31s. Any ideas on how long these...
It's pretty easy to replace glow plugs. Unscrew the old ones, screw the new ones in. Unless...you have a swollen one. The little tip sometimes swells up and becomes bigger than the hole they come out of.
I used Wellmans, myself, but a lot of people here use the AC60s.
Here's Wellman's site, if...
So my M1009 is having trouble starting today. It acts like the batteries are dead, but when I checked them with my multimeter I was getting 12.2V. Whoever put the batteries in before me didn't bother to punch out the little numbers on the label, so I don't know how old they are but I'm guessing...
I don't know if your 1110s will work. Wellman 070s DO work. When I was looking for glow plugs, they kept trying to give me glow plugs for the civilian version - when they look up 1986 Blazer, 4x4, 6.2, on their computer, 1110 will pop up. There is no "CUCV" (24V) option on their parts search. I...
Does your passenger get scared or are they just that excited to go for a drive? :-D
I second Somemedic's technique...That's just about how I do it. I used rope and had someone else pull it so I could move around and get in those tight spots.
It was a while ago that I started this thread, and I think it's important to say that mounting the CD player like this is NOT a good idea. It worked for a while, but the motor that pushes the CD out can't push it out vertically, and now doesn't work very well.
If you're content with listening...
I have a manual glow plug setup too.
Here's what I do:
1. Turn key to "On"
2. Hold down switch until "Wait" light goes off, hold for 3-4 more seconds.
3. Crank starter while feathering throttle for no more than 5 seconds
4. If motor doesn't start, hold switch down again for 3-4 seconds more and...

Here's what I did. I still have it but I should have modified it so the stereo wasn't mounted vertically. The little motor that pushes out the CD has long been burned up.
Me and my roommate decided to try sidewalk chalk on my M1009, and it turns out that it washes off easily with soap and water. We made a skull and lightning bolts as seen in the movie "Deathproof".
They're $19 on LMC, more than Autozone, plus shipping.
I guess I could try a salvage yard, but I might not find ones in good condition there. Does anyone know what this thing might be called so I know what to ask for?
So I had a 4wheeler in the back of my M1009, and in the process of getting it out, one of the tailgate cables snapped. The other one looks like it wouldn't be far behind, so I decided to get new ones. I got some 1/4" cable with rubber coating for $.73/ft and then tried to find some of the end...
