The purpose of the initial question was to allow insight as to the originality/age of the engine in a truck. Another is to help determine the general age of a truck in the absence of a data plate IF it seems to have a original engine.

I've got a couple trucks that haven't had that clog fixed... I'll clean them as a routine task and send pics when I get back in country.

Tried flushing the IP of one of my deuces and couldn't get it to work. Pen in the center of the head bounced up and down and liquid was in the sockets of the injector line holes. I couldn't be lucky enough that it would be easy to repair s spring or other simple component to get it working...

Time for an update. A friend I gout out in ince weather yesterday to work the IP issue. Verified fuel is getting thru the filters and to the head by removing the stop/plug on the top fo the head and sticking a rod down in to verify that it was shoved up and down... pump is working in there it...
